About Us

This website is maintained by the Career Guidance Service within the National School Support Services (NSSS). The aim is to ensure the supply and the coordination of vocational and career guidance services, including the implementation of programmes aimed at achieving improved school-workplace correlation and assist in the transition stages, including those from school to work. The Career Guidance Services within NSSS specifically provides and monitors career related initiatives to all students in Malta and Gozo such as:

  • One-to-one, group and class based career guidance interventions within Colleges;
  • Co-ordinates Orientation Visits to places of work (Year 9);
  • Co-ordinates Orientation Visits to post-secondary institutions (Year 11);
  • Organises other centralised initiatives such as Career Exposure programmes within a wide variety of sectors;
  • Participates in projects with other entities, such as Career Conventions, Open Days etc.;
  • I Choose (Year 11) and Choice of Subjects (Year 8) fair in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation;
  • Walk-in Service during the summer months to support students in their transitions following compulsary education
