Once again the Peer Learning Event this year focused on the importance of strengthening links and ties between the practitioners working in the 10 Colleges. Very often work demands prevent career guidance practitioners from finding time to meet together and get to know one another on an informal level. Teambuilding events provide such opportunities. The Education Officers (Career Guidance) within the National Schools Support Services once again organised the second peer learning event. This time the event focused around a Treasure Hunt in the city of Birgu.
The event provided our career guidance practitioners with the following opportunities:
- To get to know their colleagues;
- Through the experience, practitioners became aware of skills which they were not aware of possessing;
- It allowed practitioners the right atmosphere to provide feedback relating to work demands;
- It provided a good closure for the academic year;
